UPDATE ON JESSICA

THIS IS A UPDATE ON HOW JESSICA IS DOING AND HOW HER LIFE IS DOING.
WELL SHE IS NOW 6 YRS. OLD AND IN FIRST GRADE,SHE LOVES SCHOOL AND IS DOING HER BEST TO DO GOOD AND LEARN AS MUCH AS SHE CAN AND CATCH UP.SHE DOES HAVE ALONG WAYS TO GO TO CATCH UP,SHE NOW KNOWS HER NUMBERS UP TO 20 AND I HEARD ONCE THEY GO TO SECOND GRADE SHE NEEDS TO COUNT UP TO 1000 WHICH I THINK WILL TAKE AWHILE LONGER. SHE LEARNED TO WRITE HER NAME AND DRAW CIRCLES AND PEOPLE,PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND HER MORE BETTER AND SHE LOVES GOING TO SCHOOL ON HER SPECIAL BUS THEY HAVE FOR HER,SHE CAN NOT REACH THE STEPS ON A REGUAL SCHOLL BUS. WE ARE ALL HAPPY SHE IS DOING GREAT.SHE IS STILL LITTLE SHE NOW LOOKS LIKE A 4YR. OLD AND HER LITTLE BROTHER WHO IS 2 IS GETTING TALLER THAN HER.BUT IT IS OK AS LONG AS SHE IS TRYING HER BEST AND IS HEALTHY.
HEALTH WISE SHE IS DOING OK SHE STILL HAS TO GO TO UTAH FOR YEARLY UPDATES AND BLOOD WORKS ARE ALL OK AND GROWING WELL AND LOVES LIFE AS THEY COME AND GO.SHE HAS FRIENDS AND SHE LIKES A BOY SHE ALLWAYS HOLDS HIS HAND WHEN SHE SEES HIM.IT IS SO CUTE.I WILL KEEP UP TO DATE ON HOW SHE DOES AND HER LIFE.IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW AND I WILL ANSWER THEM...

This is my little girl Jessica she is now 5 and doing great. I thought I would do a blog on her and the tuff life she had.

It was when she was born she had four holes in her heart and had one fixed in New Mexico and two closed on their own. we then moved to Idaho and i had to take her to SaltLake City to the childrens hospital. she had surgery done on her last hole she got it closed.And did great.

A couple of weeks later she kept getting sick and not eating i took her to the dr. and he told me she was ok.She just kept on getting sick and ine night keep was breathing fast and trowing up alot. i then took her to a different hospital and they rushed her to the childrens hospital in Utah. There she was in PICU for a couple of days and later told me she had an immune defiecy called ICF SYNDROME. She needed a bone marrow transplant right away. She had to wait until they found a close match.She stayed un a different hospital while we waited for the transplant.they found one that was a little close and the doctors schelduled her trasplant fo Dec.2003 she had to get chemo.and radiation before she got the transplant. So she got them and then they did the transplant.She was 6mo. when they did the transplant. After the transplant she got a bunch of medicines.A couple of weeks later they told me the Bone Marrow did not take and she needed a Stem Cell transplant. we waited a couple of weeks before they found a close match.

She then went through everthing again she had to start all over. in 2004 she got the Stem Cell Transplant and that worked.

We were all happy.She spent 21/2 yrs. in the hospital and finally got to go home in 2005.she is delayed in talking and learning to potty train but hey she is doing great. God was watching over her and i thank the people that helped me all the support there was.There is more to this story but i only wrote a quick one. I am glad she is home and i don't mind if she is delayed just as long as she is home. GOD BLESS HER!
